Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists work with both children and adults. Occupational therapy is a form of rehabilitation designed to assist individuals recovering from an injury/illness or helping to maintain the performance of activities required for everyday life. Activities depend on the individual and may include household tasks, work or self-care.

Pediatric occupational therapy focuses on helping children develop the skills they need to grow into functional, independent adults. Physical impairment, injuries and a host of other issues can hamper a child’s ability to perform common tasks or progress normally through the stages of social or cognitive development. Our therapists can help.
