Tara Caudle, PT is incorporating an innovative technique in treating her patients called fascial counterstrain (FCS) or counterstrain.
As the only FCS provider in a 300-mile area, Tara has taken 16 classes on the specialty. She uses it to identify and correct dysfunction in all regions and systems of the body, expanding treatment from the musculoskeletal system.
FCS is performed by gently positioning the body to shorten the strained structure producing a therapeutic release that reduces tension and alleviates the source of pain.
The treatments are a painless and holistic approach to pain management and dysfunction. Common diagnoses that get relief include musculoskeletal conditions in all areas of the body, concussions, edema, migraine and non-migraine headaches, neuropathies, peripheral arterial disease, balance disorders, tinnitus, fibromyalgia, chronic regional pain syndrome and impaired immune system dysfunction.
From Carrington, Tara received her undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University and her Doctorate of PT from University of North Dakota. She is a certified lymphedema therapist. She also specializes in wound management and working with the geriatric population.
